The students started the last step of their preparation for their expedition to Kilimanjaro. During the school ski trip, they participated in a training session which included a nocturnal snowshoe hike with 1200m of ascent. Due to a snowstorm, the training conditions were quite intense but a good example of those which will be expected at high altitude. End January they also participated in a training session to test them one last time. With 1100m of ascent over a 12km stretch, the hike was similar to the last day on the Kilimanjaro trail. The final hike is planned over 7 days, with a total of 4700m of ascent over a distance of 60km, the start of which will be on February 11.
