Bronwyn Jacobs

Bronwyn is a Senior Kindergarten Teacher with a decade of successful educational experience that has taken her from schools at Rhodes University, The Good Shepherd Primary, Grahamstown, The Grove, Claremont, Cape Town and Newton British International School, Doha, Qatar.

She specializes in Early Childhood Education with a PGCE and a degree in Journalism both from Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa. Prior to her teaching career, she owned a Communications Company, and an international educational Little Kickers Franchise, in Grahamstown, South Africa. Her philosophy is “if students breath I can teach.”  She is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the classroom, Bronwyn focuses on her student’s emotional and social intelligences in order to guide them towards their academic understanding using their prior knowledge to channel how she adds to their academic growth, also stemming from my personal school of thought:

“ We grow into ourselves one lesson at a time. All students learn at their own pace, it’s the teacher's job to see the best way forward for each student.”

Bronwyn can be found around the school singing to her students.
