Jodie is from England. She has been teaching for 10 years and this is her second year teaching grade 3 in Léman. She is the English coach for the school and a mentor for newly qualified teachers.

Jodie believes that teaching is a calling, which enables her to have a small part in moulding the children of our future and be able to make a difference to their lives. Every child matters and it is our duty to inspire children to grow holistically. Jodie has high expectations for both herself and the children both in terms of behaviour and the quality of work they produce, as it sets the whole ethos and shows children clear barriers to follow. She prides herself on making her lessons creative, stimulating and appealing to the children, whilst maintaining academic rigour so that every child can reach their full potential.

Apart from the classroom Jodie thrives off taking part in after school activities. She enjoys coaching many sports, specially football and netball. She enjoys seeing children outside of the classroom and seeing them enjoy and excel in physical activity.
