Words from Secondary

Mr. Jose Luis Menendez
Secondary Principal

Dear Secondary Families,

CDS - Mr. Menendez 2022

We are less than four weeks away from the end of the school year.  When I stop to think about the school year, it is hard to believe that we are almost done with a whirlwind of the school year.

Through our ups and downs this year, the focus in the secondary has always been on our students and their learning, both academically and socially.  We still have a month left of school and now is not the time to reminisce, we’ll save that for June.  Rather, it is time to make sure students are in high gear to finish out the school year demonstrating everything they have learned this year in their final assessments and projects.

Our AP exams are over for our HS students and our MS MAP testing begins this coming Monday.

Next week and the week after are also weeks full of events for our Secondary Community.  Please be sure to read through this newsletter so you won’t miss out on the important information surrounding these events.

As always, I thank you for your support and partnership in the education of your children.

Onward and Upward,

JLM
