Carolina Castillo

Country Day School - Carolina Castillo

Prep Teacher

Hi! My name is Carolina Castillo and I am from the happiest country in the world: Costa Rica. I have a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Universidad de Costa Rica and a postgraduate degree in Multiple Disability from the same University. I am looking for an opportunity to get a Master’s degree in Psychopedagogy.

As a Special Education teacher, I love seeing the diversity of learning in each of my students. I truly believe that we all can learn, but we need different resources to get that learning, and it is the teacher’s responsibility to facilitate different tools for scholars to be successful.

This is my 4th year at CDS, the first two years I worked as a learning coach and this is my second year teaching 5th grade. I feel proud to be part of the CDS community.
