I taught first and second grade in the Costa Rica public school system from 2000 to 2001 at the Abraham Lincoln School in Alajuelita. During my time there, I was part of a program that helped integrate students with various special needs. In 2002, I worked as a learning coach with a student who attended the Country Day School.
In 2004, I joined the Country Day School community as a teaching assistant in the ELC (Early Learning Center). This experience made me fall in love with early childhood and CDS. I decided to focus my energy on preschool-age students and stayed at CDS instead of further developing my career in Psychopedagogy, allowing me to apply my knowledge of Psychopedagogy with my students on a daily basis.
In 2011, I began working as a preschool teacher at CDS. These years have been a journey of learning that has allowed me to continue growing in many areas. During my free time, I enjoy learning, reading, and walking in nature.
