I was born in Costa Rica and have lived here for most of my life. I have been teaching in the classroom for 16 years now. I have been working at Country Day School for the past seven years where I have been a kindergarten, prep, fifth, and currently third-grade homeroom teacher.
I have a bachelor’s degree from ULACIT University in ESL and a Masters's degree in General Education from Framingham State University.
Prior to working at CDS, I taught English to adults in two language centers in Costa Rica. I have also worked in other elementary schools in the country as a first and second-grade homeroom teacher. I enjoy the challenge found in helping and supporting all learners to reach their goals.
I love the energy, passion, and curiosity for learning that is found in teaching and growing alongside my students each day.
