Since I was young, I always admired the education figures that played an essential role in our Costa Rican culture, such as, Carmen Lyra, Roberto Brenes Mesén, and some others. These wonderful educators left a legacy behind them that I once dreamed of pursuing.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Education, which I studied at Universidad Estatal a Distancia, in San José. I first taught in two different public schools in San José, and in 1995, I started teaching Spanish in Elementary at Country Day School. Out of school, I enjoy reading, karaoke singing, and spending time in the forest contemplating our natural areas.
