Country Day School - Samantha Kryzanowski

English Teacher

I am an English teacher in the high school here at Country Day School. This is my fourth year teaching in the classroom, but I have worked with adolescents in multiple leadership programs previously. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY in 2013, and my Masters in English Education from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY in 2015.

For the past three years, I have taught AP Capstone, as well as Advanced International Certificates of Education courses from Cambridge University in South Florida. With my experience in leadership development and teaching research-based courses, I am a big proponent for teamwork and critical thinking and tying all of what we read and write in class to student’s lives outside of the classroom.
