I grew up in a suburb of New York City and knew I wanted to teach from an early age. I would hold school for my teddy bears and teach them math! I then attended Northeastern University where I studied English Literature and Secondary Education. Following an internship in Dublin, Ireland, I began working in Boston Public Schools and started my career as a paraprofessional and then teacher assistant of 7th grade English.
I firmly believe in the importance of educating the whole child and providing challenging, engaging work that inspires critical thinking.
This is my 2nd year here at CDS and my 4th year in education overall. I am so excited to be a part of this fantastic team and get to work with all of your amazing students.
When I'm not thinking about school, she loves to sing, cook, do yoga, and watch Stranger Things.
