My professional education career began at the University of Iowa in 2015 when I was accepted into the Secondary Science Education program. From my professors and fellow future teachers, I learned how to harness my passion for teaching and learning.
I called Guatemala City home for my first year of teaching. There, I lead high school scientists in the disciplines of Physics, Biology, Ecology, Health & Nutrition, Astronomy, and Anatomy.
Upon a spontaneous trip to a surf camp in Tamarindo, I quickly discovered Costa Rica would be my new home.
I am beyond lucky to wake up every morning truly excited to go to work. Here at Country Day School, I have a staff and student body who make my week days insanely enjoyable.
When I’m not in the classroom stimulating the minds of our world’s future leaders, you can find me in the ocean on a board, on a mountain on a board, or on the trail in a pair of sneakers.
