After serving in the United States Air Force I embarked on a voyage of discovery, exploring the world of Acting in Hollywood California, then on to live in Puerto Rico where I began a career in Visual Display work for an International Company. I was promoted to a Corporate position at the same company in Venezuela, and worked there for many years.
I later returned to the United States, my country of birth, and graduated with honors from the Ringling College of Design in Sarasota Florida. Upon completion of my time at Ringling and finishing an on-going sculpture project in Ft. Myers, Florida, I emigrated to Costa Rica where I began teaching Art to children and adults as well as working on my own artistic projects.
I began teaching Art at Country Day School in 1988 and I continue to produce my personal artwork.
I have been learning from the students at CDS for 30 years. We have taught each other.
