University Degree: MA Music
Since my parents are also musicians, I've always had a passion for music. I started studying the piano and singing with mother from the age of 5, and flute with my father at the age of 13. When I was 15, I was invited to a competition in Japan and won first prize in both the solo and chamber music events. Since then I decided to become a musician and went to the United States to study more flute. After graduating, I started to work for the University of Houston, where I stayed for two years.
In 2006, my husband and I decided to come to China to work for the Xinghai Conservatory of Music. I was there for 12 years. I also taught flute privately for 6 to 25-year-olds.
Basically, I love teaching! It doesn’t matter what age but I like sharing what I have learned before and watching a student’s progress makes me happy!
Besides learning, listening and teaching music, I like traveling and exploring the world. Especially visiting beautiful nature reserves, watching the blue oceans and green mountains makes me very relaxed. When I have time, I also like to travel with my husband and two beautiful children, cook and take part in many kinds of sports.
