bee and bear class trip

Bees Class and Bears Class Visit the Science Centre

What an exciting morning it was last Thursday when the children from Bee and Bear classes went to the Science Centre in Taman Mini. The children were very excited and had been looking forward to this big trip all week.

The day was full of great experiences, with even the morning bus journey to Taman Mini being a big adventure.   After the excitement of the bus journey, we refueled with morning snack before entering the Science Centre where we were amazed to be welcomed by enormous moving dinosaurs. The rocket launch demo was really impressive and we found out afterwards how the water and air was pumped into a bottle, creating enough pressure to launch the bottle rocket really high up into the air. We spent the morning in small groups exploring all the different areas of the centre. We explored and experienced activities about movement, light and dark, sound, shadows and much more. There was so much to see and do. We had a fantastic morning of learning, asking questions and being amazed at the science all around us. Thanks to all the parents who joined us – we could not have done this without you!
