This year we are adopting a Mad Hatter’s theme and encourage children, teachers and parents to come along wearing a hat – the more creative and fantastic the better! It can be any kind of hat; one you already have at home, a customised upcycled hat, or a hand-made creation. Let your imaginations and creativity run wild.
The main event will take place on the sports field between 12:00 – 13:30 and will involve a range of performances from the Primary children and a Mad Hat parade. Tents, seating mats and fans will be provided for comfort and shade so that children and parents can enjoy a relaxing festival style picnic. We hope that parents will work together to provide a yummy picnic for the children and parents and that Class Parent Representatives will coordinate this as aspect of the day with all the class parents.
With your support and participation, we hope this Garden Party will be a fun end of term celebration for the whole school community. Please book the date in your diary and get working on your most fabulous hats.
We look forward to you joining in the Mad Hat fun and enjoying the talents of our students.
