Biography

After graduating as a teacher, Tara worked as a Nursery teacher at Raffles International Christian School, Jakarta. She also worked as a relief teacher at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) across all primary grades from Kindergarten to Grade 5 over six years. Through this experience, Tara recognised that teaching children through an enquiry- led program was highly empowering and rewarding. She has since pursued Reggio inspired teaching practices for early years.

Tara enjoys introducing the world to young minds through a child centric, hands-on approach where children develop a love for learning and are willing to take risks as learners. She is committed to creating a stimulating and dynamic environment for her learners to thrive in.

Tara is blessed with two children, a girl and a boy, aged 16 and 11 years respectively. Her spouse’s job in advertising has taken her to Malaysia and Singapore previously. She is passionate about running, yoga, diving and volcano climbing! She’s looking forward to many more rewarding years in this beautiful country of gentle folk and great outdoors!
