Ann McPhee

Ann currently serves as the Regional Managing Director of North America. She is passionate about the work she undertakes with schools and thrives on the interactions with education professionals, children and students.
Ann received her Masters in Education at Kingston University and brings over 30 years of experience in the education industry to Nord Anglia Education. Ann McPhee has lived and worked in international schools in the US, Qatar, UAE, Germany and the UK. Before joining Nord Anglia Education, Ann was the Group Director of Education for the World Class Learning Group (WCL), overseeing the education standards and leadership in international schools around the world. She is also highly qualified in developing schools’ leadership teams.
As a member of the Nord Anglia Education team, Ann focuses on providing guidance and support to our schools in North America.
Dr. Raquel Castaño
Associate Dean for Faculty , EGADE Business School

Associate Dean for Faculty at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey. She was former Academic Director and Director of the Master in Marketing Program in the same institution.
Dr. Castaño holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and a Master in Management with Specialization in Marketing by Tulane University, USA. As well as a
Master in Marketing, Master in Business Administration, and Bachelor in Marketing by Tecnológico de Monterrey, México.
She has been professor of Marketing and Consumer Behavior at Tecnológico de Monterrey since 1987 and has authored articles in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, and Marketing Letters, among others. Previous joining Tecnológico de Monterrey, Dr. Castano worked in the Marketing Department of Pepsico (Gamesa) holding different managerial positions.

Isidro Martínez
Partner, Alianzas Estratégicas EJRPI

Isidro is currently Partner at Alianzas Estratégicas EJRPI, a consulting firm specialized in finance and general management. He has over 30 years experience in the Financial Services Sector, where he held several executive positions in the Corporate, Commercial, Consumer and Mortgage Banking areas, at Citibanamex, Scotiabank and Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior (Bladex). Previously, he worked for Ford Motor Company in the
Purchasing, Product Engineering and Product Planning areas.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of Fianzas Monterrey a Chubb Ltd. subsidiary in Mexico . He was a member of the Executive Commission of the Nuevo León Mexican Banking Association, where he served as Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, from Universidad La Salle, México City; and a Master of Science in Management, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Isidro has been a member of the ISR Community since 1990. Three out of his four children are ISR Alumni. Marisol (2003) Isidro (2005) & Eugenio (2008).
María José Pineda
National Leader for the Implementation of TEC21

Currently serves as National Leader for the implementation of TEC21 (the new educational model of Tecnologico de Monterrey) at the Vice-Rectorate of Educative Transformation. Previously she was the High School Academic Director at PrepaTec (Tecnologico de Monterrey educational system comprised by 35 high school around Mexico) and former Principal at Campus Eugenio
Garza Sada, Tecnológico de Monterrey (13 years).
Maria José has a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management and received her Master in Education at Tecnologico de Monterrey. She brings more than 33 years of experience in the field of education in different leading positions and interacting whit education professional and students. During her pathway as an educator, she has coordinated and participated in projects related to the redesign of the teaching-learning process, the development of new high school curriculum, the design of PDP programs and the implementation of educational innovations.

Arturo Barahona
Chief of Surgery and Chief of Hospitals at San José and Zambrano Hellion

Arturo has 25 years experience in private practice as general and laparoscopic surgeon. He has served as chief quality officer, and deputy medical director at Zambrano Hellion and San Jose Hospitals, and as an associate medical director, chief of emergency department, and clinical leader at Hospital San José.
He loves education, therefore since 2004 he is a clinical professor at General Surgery Postgraduate Residence Program and at Escuela Nacional de Medicina ITESM.
He is highly involved in community service activities with the `Santos y de la Garza Evia Foundation’, supporting people who needs medical care in high degree of helplessness. Arturo also supports different communities in need inhis capacity as consultant physician since 2006.
He enjoys sports like spinning, jogging, racket ball and hiking, as well as barbecue grill and stone oven cooking.
Arturo has been an ISR community member since 1998. His three children are ISR alumni: Andrés (2011), Diego (2013), and Mauricio (2016).
Juan Carlos Costales
CEMEX Venture Manager

Juan Carlos is an economist with more than 30 years of experience in the commercial and manufacturing industry; with solid knowledge in all operational areas as well as in strategic planning and new business development.
He is a dedicated executive of CEMEX at the corporate office and he has been always passionate about being part of the successful transformation and growth of this great global cement company (Since 1990).
In 2008 he participated as PMO Director at Whirlpool México, led a local project to achieve savings of 2 billion dollars, which was considered as a strategic global objective of the company.
He has also been a university professor in the “Tec de Mty” at the International Business school (2006-08). He had a successful experience as an independent entrepreneur through a dried fruit trader (2009-17).
Juan Carlos has lived and worked in countries such as Venezuela, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain & the UK. He has been a member of the ISR community since 2000. His three sons are ISR Alumni; Juan Carlos (2011) Daniel (2013) and Diego (2015).
