Heather Thexton

Physics Teacher / Head of Year 8

Heather Thexton - BSc, PGCE

Heather Thexton holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Geology from the University of Leeds (UK) and a PGCE from the University of Cumbria (Physics specialism).

She has 3 years of experience in a British state school. Her career began in Lancaster, in the North of England, where after having trained and taught in a CofE school, she worked her way up to a Head of Physics position before expatriating to start teaching internationally.

She will be arriving in Thailand in 2018 and feels very privileged to be part of the Regents community. Outside of school she enjoys: the Arts - specifically singing and dancing; outdoor pursuits – specifically skiing, mountaineering and SCUBA diving; and trying anything new and challenging that comes her way.
