Year 1 Carnival of Animals Parade

The children in Year 1 will begin their new Topic "Carnival of Animals" after the October holiday. To launch the Topic, and elicit the student's interest in learning about animals, the Year 1 students will be performing in a parade dressed in animal costumes.

All Year 1 parents are invited to come along to the parade which will start at 2.20pm on Thursday 16th October in the Auditorium.

To help the children look their best in the parade, we are asking parents to please help to create or find an animal costume for their child. Please send your child's costume to school in a clearly labelled bag no later than Tuesday 14th October.

Please RSVP to your child's class teacher if you are able to attend the parade.

For any further information please contact your child's class teacher or Miss Clapperton (
