Year 1 Pirate Day

In connection with their topic on Pirates this term, the students in Year 1 have enjoyed investigating with a range of materials to help plan, design and create their own Pirate Ship. 'Pirate Day' will be an opportunity for the children to apply their creativity and knowledge of materials towards building their own pirate ship models. The children will also be able to experiment with their models to test whether their ship floats or sinks. Of course, doing all of this in pirate clothes just makes it even more fun!

Children are invited to come to school in Pirate fancy dress. If your child has a CCA which they require a PE kit or uniform for then please send this with them so they can change in the afternoon.

Please contact your child's class teacher in case of any questions.
