Gunilla moved to Shanghai in 2011 after having studied at Lund University (Sweden), Leeds Business School (UK), Stockholm Business School (Sweden) and lastly Fudan University (China). The Fudan International MBA Program offered a collaboration between Fudan University and MIT Sloan School of Management where the curriculum was jointly developed by the two schools. The degree left her with an international perspective and entrepreneurial spirit, well-adjusted to the demands of economic globalisation and the dynamic Chinese landscape.
Joining Nord Anglia, who also collaborates with MIT, seemed like a natural choice. She previously spent several years working within Higher Education. This experience has given her valuable insights into the international education system but also a deep understanding of the complex decision-making process families goes through when choosing the right school. Additionally, seeing firsthand how practical and international exposure allows children to be equipped for an ever-changing world when applying to universities led to her decision to join NAIS Pudong.
