International Week is nearly here!
Tickets for the International Food Evening are selling fast. Make sure you don’t miss out. Order yours this week! There will be a huge amount of wonderful food, fun drinks, great beer and wine, spectacular door prizes and of course a wonderful social gathering of the BISS Puxi community!
The children in the Primary School will again be treated to a feast of international food at the Food Fair in the last week of term. Details about country coordinators have gone out via the Room Parent Network, so if you are able to prepare a dish for the kiddies, please contact your coordinator directly!
An exciting production of The Crucible will be performed next week in the Secondary Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now from the primary and secondary reception, or via the letter that went home this week. The PTA will run a bar on the opening and closing nights. If you are interested in helping, or have an hour to spare on Monday or Friday nights, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are still looking for parents who have a few spare hours to help organize this fun event for the kids. If you are interested, please send us an email at email@example.com.
IB Visual Arts Exhibition 2014
The event will take place on the 24 March, on the third floor of the secondary school, in the art and science corridor from 6pm to 8pm. The students have produced some wonderfully inventive pieces and have worked exceptionally hard over the past two years for this event. There will be nibbles and wine, so come along and have a look at what our talented kids have been doing!
New Parent Programme
Our next New Parent Tour is coming up this Monday 17 March to the Poster Propaganda Museum with lunch following at the Coconut Paradise (Thai) restaurant. Many seats are filled, however there are a few left! If you would like to see if there are any more seats available and need a registration form, please contact Alice Hudson at firstname.lastname@example.org or Melinda Smith at email@example.com ASAP.
The New Parent Teatime for March will be on Friday 28 March from 10 – 11:30am at Cafe du Village (upstairs). We will treat you to a coffee or tea of your choice and a wealth of information about the upcoming (and possibly current) problems with mould here in Shanghai. You won't want to miss out on receiving this information about how to handle this messy stuff! Cafe du Village has limited seating upstairs so if you would like to join us please RSVP with Tonya Blanchford at firstname.lastname@example.org. See you there!
