Day 3 On The Year 6 Residential to Baihe

16 April 2014

It’s been non-stop on the Year 6 residential trip this week. Melissa Riley and Liza Vasilyeva give us an update on Day 3 of the trip.

After a quick breakfast including Quaker Squares, the ultimate booster, our groups went their separate ways for the different activities of the day.

Some of us started with orienteering which was a challenging quest of exploring the nearby village and the foliage surrounding our camp.

Some of us did team building which was a test to see how much we trusted each other with extraordinary games and activities. They required patience and focus.

Rock climbing was extremely difficult to begin with, as we were not familiar with the height and equipment. Later, our groups scaled the cliff face like lizards. The abseiling starting point was more than twenty metres from solid ground. Nervous at first with the risky looking cliff, the group became accustomed to the bulky gear.

Another wonderful day had by all!
