Lara being presented with her certificate by Mr Foyle
The students are chosen for having demonstrated core values and attitudes such as confidence, inquiry, creativity and critical thinking as well as leading the Global Classroom online and in their schools.
Last year, out of 17,000 students in our family of 28 schools, two of the five chosen were from our school, which is an outstanding achievement, and we are very proud of the two girls who were recognised by the Global Classroom team and Professor Deborah Eyre, Education Director of Nord Anglia Education.
The two girls were Lara Woo and Natarsha Yan, both going into Year 7 this year, who have both took a strong lead in Global Classroom activities last year, including debates and competitions, and were very pleased to have won the 2013-14 Honour Award. Well done to both girls and we’re looking forward to more Global Classroom contributions this academic year!
