Our Hugely Successful Second Hand Uniform Sale

10 September 2014

Our inaugural second hand uniform sale took place on Tuesday 9 September and was a huge success thanks to the parents who had taken the time to plan, prepare and carry out this meaningful event.

With so many parents needing new school uniforms for their children and with the thought of reducing, reusing and recycling strong in their mind, a group of parents developed this initiative.  The event was wonderfully supported and appreciated by many of our parent community resulting in approximately 400 items being sold and 2,010RMB raised.

The money will be donated to one of the school’s focus charities and is greatly appreciated.  A huge thanks to all those involved including the Year 12 CAS pupils Kelly Lee, Chelsea Kaya, Bennet Held, Clay Bricker and Derek Kang who kindly offered their time to support the sale and of course to all of the parents who kindly donated their children’s old uniforms.  We hope that donations will continue in the future.

A great start to what we hope can be a regular event in our calendar!
