World Book Day - Who Will You Be?

26 February 2015

Next Thursday 5 March, secondary students and staff are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite literary character, to celebrate World Book Day.

This character can be from any novel, poem or play, and can be from a text you have studied at school or have read in your own time. Any students who choose to dress up, must come in an obvious costume, not just in normal clothes.

Anyone who doesn’t dress up must come to school in normal school uniform.

We are asking any student who wear a costume on the day to donate at least 10RMB in order to help buy new books for the Qing Pu Xiu Long Migrant School. These donations will benefit the students of the school hugely, providing them with the valuable materials needed to help improve their literacy. Of course, you do not have to dress up to donate!

We’re looking forward to seeing a great range of characters around secondary next Thursday – who will you be??
