Year 1 Sports Day

27 April 2016

Year 1 didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits as they enthusiastically headed over to the Secondary Sports Hall earlier this week for their Sports Day.

They looked fantastic dressed in their house colours and were very excited about taking part in different events.

Year 1 has been working incredibly hard during their PE lessons and it was lovely to watch them applying all of their skills.

I was very proud of the way in which all of the children behaved and it was great to see them encouraging and supporting each other.

Some of our favourite events/ activities were-

Viktor- I really liked the football and running super-fast.

Joelle- I really enjoyed the spoon race because when the egg falls it’s funny!

Sophia- Seeing my Mum when I was jumping made me happy.

Dean- My Dad said he loved me running.

Sienna- I love sports day! I did lots of activities.

YoYo- My favourite part was getting a medal!
