Early Years Cubs Pay a Visit to the Flower Shop

16 May 2016

Throughout the term, Early Years Cubs have been caring for the plants in our outdoor area. We have been learning about where vegetables come from and how we look after these plants.

Each class went on a daily adventure to our local flower shop. Jenny from Jenny’s Flowers invited us to her shop and each child chose and paid for their very own flower.

They brought these plants back to school and planted them in our outdoor area to create our own vegetable patch.

Over the rest of the term we will watch our plants grow and hopefully get to try some of the produce before the end of term!
