Shanghai Dutch School End of Year Party

23 June 2016

Earlier this month, the Shanghai Dutch School held its annual End of Year Party at BISS Puxi.

This is the moment to celebrate our successes of the past year, thank all of our volunteers, the Dutch PTA and say goodbye to those leaving Shanghai.

Heavy rains threatened to ruin the fun, but we managed to create a great party venue by setting up party tents in the Secondary Quad. The Secondary Sports Hall served as the greatest and biggest playroom of Shanghai which guaranteed indoor fun for all kids involved.

The highlight of the day was our amazing raffle thanks to the exciting prizes such as lunch vouchers for El Willy’s and The Shangri-La, electronic goods from Phillips, boxes full of Lotus cookies, 3 Nike footballs and backpacks, free Ravioli vouchers from FabFoodz, cooking classes from Sprout Works and many more!

Children present enjoyed the presence of a balloon clown, magician and a make-up artist.

Altogether, it was a very successful party and I would like to thank everyone that came.

Chris Samsom, Head of Shanghai Dutch School
