RAG Week Clothes Donation

10 November 2017

During RAG week back in September, we held a clothing drive for Rivers of Hearts (ROH) and the Primary Student Council students did an amazing job of sorting.

Year 12 students raised awareness for Rivers of Hearts and the work they do, established in 2003, ROH collect donations and deliver them to communities in need across China.  As of this year ROH no longer accepted donations, however they were able to link us with a recipient organisation which we can directly send the donations to.  In October we sent all the boxes to a rural village in Guizhou, the donations have been given out to many older people and children. Many of these are needy families or older people who live on their own so they were happy to receive the things that were sent. Some of the things will be given out to other people in need over the next coming months.  Thank you to all who donated.
