Congratulations BISS Lions U14 Basketball Players

This weekend saw the inaugural Nord Anglia Global Games China U14 Basketball competition and we were thrilled to host this prestigious new event.

We welcomed our family of sister schools from Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Pudong.

The first set of games played on Friday and Saturday morning included group stages and students enjoyed the competitive introduction to each other.  Games were all played at a fast and frenetic pace, with great skill and respect shown by all of the players.

Going into the finals, our BISS boys and girls topped each group.  In the finals, BISS Lions Girls became champions following a very competitive match against NAIS Pudong.  The boys remained dominant throughout the two days and were given a real challenge to overcome a resolute BSG team.  Our Year 7 team did extremely well, achieving runners up in the plate final against NAIS Pudong.
