BISS Unplugged: Remarkable Recitals

We would like to invite students to participate in the upcoming Performing Arts recitals on Monday 1 March – Thursday 4 March.

Music Recitals

This event is open to all students from Reception to Year 13 who are ready to perform a dance, drama, or musical solo performance.

  • All instruments (including voice) are accepted, but students must consider their accompaniments. Where possible, our music class teachers will help to accompany students on piano and accompaniment music should be passed to Primary/Secondary reception by Monday 8th February.  Please note that music received after this date will not be accepted.
  • Sheet music provided for accompaniment should be appropriate (e.g. not a list of chords with lyrics) and clearly legible (e.g. not a photo of a score).
  • Performances should be no more than three minutes long so please time your performance to make sure it is not too long.
  • Please note that singers should be accompanied by music only (e.g. backing track), not by recorded songs. Backing tracks for dancers/singers should be emailed to music@bisspuxi.com or left on a labelled USB at reception by Monday 8 February.

The recitals will be in concert uniform. This consists of black trousers, black socks and black shoes as well as our Performing Arts Polo Shirt. These polo shirts can be purchased from our Uniform Shop at the Primary School. Due to the current environment parents will be regrettably unable to attend, however the performances will be recorded and each parent will receive a video of their child. The children will perform in front of a special audience made of BISS students and teachers.

To be considered for the recital, please complete the online form by clicking on this link: BISS Unplugged – Remarkable recitals.

All instruments (including voice) are accepted, but students must consider their accompaniments.

The form should be completed by Monday 8 February.
