AN EXCEPTIONAL WATCH FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL SCHOOL

The partnership initiated a year ago between the Manufacture Hublot and Collège du Léman continues. After installing a large clock in the establishment’s gymnasium and sponsoring its sports teams, the watch brand is now unveiling a 20-piece limited edition specially created to honour the international school: the Big Bang Collège du Léman. Based on the design of the Nyon-based manufacturer’s iconic Big Bang model, each of the 20 engraved and numbered 44mm-diameter watches in this limited edition features a stainless steel case enhanced with a midnight blue ceramic bezel. Its royal blue dial, its yellow gold-plated luminescent red hour-markers and its hands were created to recall the colours of the emblematic school crest. At 12 o’clock, the discreet yellow-plated “CDL” initials elegantly celebrate a sense of belonging to the grand family of Collège du Léman students and alumni (over 20,000 to date). The strap of the mechanical hand-wound chronograph picks up the same signature shade of royal blue, enhanced by yellow gold-toned stitching and a stainless steel folding clasp. Available from the school for CHF15,300, the watch is showcased in the reception area.

 

A LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP

This exclusive timepiece is brimming with symbols and highlights the values shared by Hublot and the Collège du Léman in terms of precision, excellence and passion. As the school’s Director General, Thomas Schädler, explains: “Hublot has been the official timekeeper for the Collège du Léman for over a year now. It’s an honour for us to be associated with a company that has so many common denominators with our establishment. For it is not the aura of luxury often promoted by the watch industry that we are seeking to highlight through this initiative, but rather the DNA of Hublot, an innovative brand that is extremely active in sports.
