No matter how ideal the greater environment of a child’s upbringing, a strong immediate support system and close role models are vital to their academic and personal growth. Under the care of our attentive House Parents and their assisting House Tutors, this necessity is far from overlooked at Collège du Léman. Much more than simply surrogate caregivers, they are mentors, counsellors and friends, available round the clock for any need, be it emotional, academic or practical.
A sea of diversity which mirrors the cultural variety of their charges, our House Parents represent numerous countries, from the UK to Ecuador and Romania to Angola. Educated in a vast range of subjects spanning neuroscience to theatre and almost everything in between, they are selected for their empathy, perception and enthusiasm. Patient and humorous, yet always thoroughly in control of their students, they are the glue which ultimately bonds each of our house families together.
