As every year, the Champittet Holiday Clubs took place on the Pully and Nyon campuses during the Easter holidays, with two new additions: the Happy Sciences camp, organised in collaboration with our partner Young Engineers, and the sailing camp, in partnership with the Pully Nautical Club.
Open to both Champittet pupils and external students and designed to appeal to all ages and interests, these are the different clubs that our participants could choose from:
The Happy Sciences Club, where the participants were able to learn in a playful way the laws and concepts of the world of science, mathematics and engineering, while combining challenges and experiments.
The Sailing Club, in partnership with the Pully Nautical Club, welcomed and introduced the children to sailing, in optimist and catamaran.
The Nano Club, where our youngest children followed a varied programme of workshops and creative activities, including music and dance, crafts, cooking, walks, and sports games culminating with a surprise outing on Friday.
The Multisports Club invited the children to have fun and be active with a wide range of games and sports, including basketball, tennis, parkour, football, baseball, swimming and a surprise outing on Friday.
Camp TechSpark Academy, with interactive classes taught in small groups by expert instructors following a hands-on approach. Students were encouraged to think, create and develop a curiosity for what fuels the future. During the week, the participants also had the privilege to meet in person people working at Google and learn about their tech careers.
