On Wednesday, Ms Naomi Skinner, a Primary teacher from our sister BIS school in Ho Chi Minh City, did a presentation to the Primary students about her 2,200km charity run from Hanoi all the way to Ho Chi Minh City. All the funds raised from the run will go directly to charities that support vulnerable Vietnamese children.

During the assembly she did a fun quiz for students to take part in which was about her run and its purpose. The students excitement added a huge boost of energy to the room which left everyone energised for the day ahead as well as new knowledge and understanding of some of Vietnam's most unprivileged children and what we all can do to help them.

What is Nam Runs Nam?

Starting in Hanoi in October 2019, Ms Naomi, BIS Ho Chi Minh’s Year 2 Teacher, will be running 2,200km from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. The focus of the run will be to raise money and awareness of six charities that support vulnerable Vietnamese children by providing fun, safe spaces in which to learn and grow.
