On Wednesday (Sep 11), BIS Hanoi hosted a Council of International Schools (CIS) Fair for students. A large number of students attended the Fair with great support from the school’s representatives. The CIS Fair is hosted at the school so that students can gain useful information and contact details from Universities that they are interested in while also allowing them to speak with Universities that may not have been on their initial short list. The Fair is hosted early in the year so that students have time to collate the information, weigh up their options and pencil in discussions with Mrs. Fairbairn, the BIS University Guidance Counsellor.

Moreover, on Sep 12 & 13, there were more visits from Ryerson University (Canada) and University of Melbourne, respectively.

Our students will leave the school prepared to enter a very competitive world where they will need to utilise their academic ability, strength of character and communication skills to be successful young adults. Therefore, at BIS Hanoi, we always try to offer them competitive advantages and guide them to find the university that is their right fit. Every year Mrs. Fairbairn assists each Year 13 student on an individual basis by advising them on the best University and course for them with the belief being that if we help to find the best fit higher education environment for them, they will continue to flourish in the future!
