On Wednesday 25th September, students in Years 7-10 took part in our termly House Maths competition. This term, the competition was Sprint Maths and the atmosphere was electric with students being determined to be the quickest to the teacher and lots of friendly competition between the teams!

Every term, we will hold House Maths competition between each Grades and Houses. This term, the competition was Sprint Maths for Years 7 – 10 students. Students were divided into small teams and had to answer a series of Maths questions that they had to retrieve by running to a teacher. The task tested not only the mathematical ability of the students but also their athleticism as they attempted to answer as many questions as possible correctly in the time allowed.

Our students were very excited to join in the fun and gain points for their Houses. The atmosphere at the event was energetic with all students determined to be quickest to the teacher with lots of friendly competition between the teams. Congratulations to Hanoi for being the triumphant House on the day, winning the Y7, Y8 and Y9 competitions!

Through this event, we are happy to see our students’ teamwork abilities as well as their love of learning developing. We all learn better when they learn together!
