The children in F1-F3 have continued their virtual schooling with enthusiasm this week. We are continuing to see an increase in participation and engagement every day. Keep up the great work.

On Friday, we also prepared and delivered our 3rd Learning Box. You can still pick these up next week at the EYC building.

F1

To build their vocabulary and improve their listening skills, the F1 children have been playing the game I SPY all week. They were encouraged to look and find objects around their houses that match the clues and descriptions given.

In Maths, we have started comparing Sets, using the words more and fewer. The children used their own toys and food to compare which set has more, which set has fewer.

F2

The children in F2 have been working very hard this week, learning lots of new content. We started the week talking about our new superhero, Poppy Perseverance. We read the story of the 'Enormous Turnip' and this will be this term's focus on Talk for Writing. We also continued to learn about healthy eating as part of our topic and we are moving ahead with our phonics sounds.

F3

This week in F3 we have been changing the story Jasper’s Beanstalk. We decided to change: Jasper’s name, what he planted, what it grew into and finally, the giant. We collected everyone’s ideas and used the random selector on Dojo to choose each idea.

In Story Time, we also read I am Yoga on Epic! We set the children a challenge of  completing different yoga poses. Make sure to login to your new Epic account to read lots of exciting books.
