Congratulations on a successful academic year!

Congratulations on a successful academic year! | BIS Hanoi-congratulations-on-a-successful-academic-year-y6 leave assembly 2
Congratulations on a successful academic year! Although we have not been able to welcome the students back onto the school campus before the end of term, there are still many other successes to celebrate in this final weekly update.

Although we have not been able to welcome the students back onto the school campus before the end of term, there are still many other successes to celebrate in this final weekly update.

On Friday, Year 11 completed their final exam of their iGCSEs which have been going on over the last 6 weeks. It has been a challenging time for them but on behalf of Mr. Webb, myself and all the BIS staff we would like to congratulate them for their hard work, perseverance and resilience. We look forward to welcoming them back in August after a relaxing summer break, ready for the start of their IB journey. Well done Year 11!

Mr. Driver and our Year 6 Team, said congratulations and good luck to the Year 6 students this Friday in the annual Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly. There were some wonderful reflections from Ms. Mi (our Head TA) and Ms. Fitzpatrick, who taught some of the current year 6 students when they were in F3 and Y1. It is wonderful to see how each and every one of them has grown and developed into such wonderful young people and how well prepared and ready they are for Y7. With wonderful reflections from students and teachers and a fantastic musical performance for all the Y6 students, it was a special way to finish the penultimate week.

You will be receiving a letter this week about the updates that are taking place over the summer to further develop our campus and we will be introducing our new staff that are joining us during in August. We round off the year on Friday with our final Principal’s award assembly at 9am; I do hope you can join us for it.

Finally, I wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you the parents for your continued support this year and particularly over the final term. I do understand the additional challenges for parents when the students are in Virtual School, and you have all done brilliantly.

Wishing you all a relaxing summer holiday. Stay safe and we look forward to welcoming our community back onto the campus in August.
