Jim had worked in the UK education system for 6 years at schools across North London before moving to BIS Hanoi in 2013. Since joining, he has successfully led the Geography and TOK teams, collaboratively driven whole-school improvement initiatives, and led the Geography department to SGQM accreditation by the Geographical Association of the United Kingdom. Jim strives for pedagogical excellence and is always looking for ways to improve both the quality of teaching and the learning experience for all students at BIS. Research areas that interest him the most are Second Language Acquisition, Intercultural Education and Leadership of Pedagogy. Outside of teaching, Jim enjoys travelling, watching Football and Formula 1, learning Vietnamese and finding interesting places to try new cuisines.
