After the success of the concert “Le Chauffage – A Journey to live” was held for the first time in early 2019, BVIS Hanoi continues to accompany violin talent Tran Le Quang Tien and his sister - pianist Tran Le Bao Quyen to organise the 2nd Le Chauffage classical concert with the theme “Journey to Love”.
For the last one year, the siblings, Bao Quyen and Quang Tien have been persevering with their passion for studying and performing music overseas. The dedication for this special type of art can be deeply expressed by Quang Tien’s enchanting violin sound and Bao Quyen’s captivating piano notes. Audiences will be then taken into the unbounded world in which emotion and beauty flourish.
The Le Chauffage concert is organized from the desire that music will bring practical value to those people who need sharing and caring. In this second time, the two siblings Bao Quyen - Quang Tien will accompany with BVIS Hanoi and the volunteer group – Chia se tinh thuong, where Dr. Nguyen Lan Hieu is a member and has participated in the activities in many years.
Pianist Tran Le Bao Quyen said: "We are very moved to perform, and to do a bigger job than the profession. When observing people who are poor and in difficulties, it gives us passion for what we do. We value life more, and the stories create more motivation, affection and emotion on the stage. "
Mr. Mark Sayer, Principal of British Vietnamese International School shared: After the success of last year’s Le Chauffage Charity Concert, former BVIS student, Quang Tien, and his sister, Bao Quyen, announced that they would commit to organising a charity concert every year, if at all possible. I quickly realised that we shared the same ideas and purposes to host this night. On the occasion of this second concert, we hope our message “A Journey of Love” will spread out into our community. The musical contributions of Quang Tien and Bao Quyen will combine with the charitable donations of the audience to provide greater comfort and support for those living in difficult circumstances.
