KS3 - How to design an Iron Man

KS3 had a English literature and Art project day on Friday 15th October where they read and interpreted Ted Hugh's novel The iron man, to create their own illustrations and storyboards.

They read the text identifying the descriptive language used, and then using this to inform their drawings. They also researched the shapes , patterns and textures that can be found in iron objects, in order to make their designs more creative and unique. On Friday 29th they will continue on this project , learning how to create stop motion animations of part of the story
