Paul has a wealth of educational experience spanning over 25 years and from August 1, 2022, he has been officially the Principal of BVIS Hanoi.
Mr.Holyome is joining us having spent 3 years as the Executive Principal of Compass International School our NAE school in Qatar. Before this, he was Principal of the British School Yangon and Principal of BVIS in Ho Chi Minh City. Mr.Holyome has a degree in Business and Economics from Southampton University, a PGCE and has successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship.
Before embarking on his international career, Mr.Holyome was Vice Principal of an Academy and Headteacher of a middle school, both on the Isle of Wight in the UK. Mr.Holyome is committed to ensuring the best for all students and staff in his care. He enjoys embracing new cultures and has enjoyed working in Asia and the Middle East.
Mr.Holyome arrived in Hanoi the last two week and has started to visit the school.
After observing, he shared his thoughts:
"I can see already that BVIS Hanoi is a fantastic school, well-resourced and well managed. I am looking forward to the opportunity of sharing my expertise to further enhance the provision here at the school. I can also see the significant investment that has been applied to campus improvements over the summer period. Most importantly, we will be celebrating 10 years of BVIS Hanoi in 2023 and it is my honor to enjoy this moment with you all."
