From a young age Erin worked in the public and NGO sectors in the UK, specialising in children and young people’s participation in policy and public decision making. After graduating from University, she worked in children’s Mental Health Services in London for 7 years, as well as leading a national campaign around young people’s wellbeing in Health and Education and heading up a national charity focused on young people led grantmaking.
As a keen writer, a life-long fan of education and with a passion for supporting children and young people’s development, Erin decided to expand her skillset by training as an ESL Teacher in 2014. She has since spent 18 months as teaching at a well-known English Language Centre in Hanoi and has loved her experience in this field so far.
Erin enjoys reading, travelling, live music, swimming and yoga. She is currently studying Vietnamese and hopes to become fluent during her time in Vietnam.
