  • PGCE- Business and Economics , Manchester University, UK

After University Chris worked in recruitment in UK, Jakarta and Budapest, both freelance and for leading agencies. When the recession hit the UK in 2009, Chris managed to secure a place on Manchester University’s Business and Economics PGCE.

Since then he has taught in Manchester and Kiev, both for 2 years, teaching Business, Economics and ICT and holding a variety of positions of responsibility. Whilst in Kiev, Chris was promoted to Assistant Head, giving him good leadership experience.

Chris is very happy to be returning to a country he has visited many times and is looking forward to making a positive impact on the school and the students at BVIS, eating everything in sight and embracing the Vietnamese culture.

In his spare time Chris loves motorbikes, music, Muay Thai and travel. He has become something of an adventure traveller in recent years, taking the Trans Siberian train from Moscow to Beijing, training Muay Thai in Phuket, riding motorbikes around Cambodia and Sri Lanka and recently actually riding an Enfield motorbike over the second highest road in the world, in Kashmir.
