This week in the Primary School - Ms Rosy Clark - 01/09/2016

Meet the Teachers

Thank you to all parents who attended our annual “Meet the Teachers” evening on Wednesday 31st August. We hope you found the event and the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers useful.

First house competitions of the year

Last week in assembly, the Primary children found out that their teachers had already earned some housepoints for our four houses of Hanoi, Hue, Dalat and Saigon. During the week before school opened when all the teachers were already in school, we participated in a team building exercise rather like the ‘Amazing Race’ around District 7. The purpose of this was for our new staff to get to know our returning teachers and our English and Vietnamese teachers to collaborate together in teams.

As you can see from the photos, the teachers had a lot of fun and I’m sure the children have appreciated all the housepoints they won!

A second house competition took place in assembly last week with the theme of ‘Global Citizens’ with teachers and children playing along in a variety of general knowledge rounds.
