how we teach

Niki has extensive leadership experience, with a career spanning more than 25 years and several countries. Prior to joining us, Niki was Principal at Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam. She has also held Principal and Headteacher positions at Nord Anglia schools in Jakarta, Shanghai, and Bratislava.

Niki is a strong believer in the benefits of an international education. She’s passionate about building learning environments that nurture each student’s talents, where everyone is empowered to be curious, creative, and take risks.

Originally from Scotland, Niki lives in Prague with her husband and springer spaniel, Canna. Her youngest daughter is a recent PBIS graduate who now studies at Stirling University, while her eldest is at Edinburgh University. Niki enjoys sports, particularly swimming, yoga and walking. She also likes to be creative and always has a crafting project on the go.

Niki’s qualifications include a MSc in Educational Leadership from Leicester University and a Bachelor of Education from Edinburgh University.

Daniel is also an ACCA qualified accountant with expertise in financial analysis, IFRS, financial management, and reporting. In his NAE regional role, he supported NAE schools in Europe on mergers and acquisitions, expansions, investment plans, as well as various operations projects. He was born in Slovakia, where he spent the early part of his life before moving to the UK for studies.

For the last 12 years, he has lived in the Czech Republic, just outside of Prague, where he enjoys nature, quality time with his family and pets, along with various DIY and crafting challenges that life in the countryside can offer.

Paul was appointed Head of Kamýk Campus in 2017. After graduating from Oxford University, he gained significant experience in the UK before joining PBIS as a teacher. Paul’s PBIS journey has taken him from the role of Deputy Head to our Head of Campus.

Paul is an avid Liverpool FC and Wigan RFC supporter, and enjoys running to keep fit. He also has three energetic sons who keep him busy!

Paul has a wealth of teaching experience, both in the UK and internationally. Before becoming Head of Vlastina Campus, Paul was Deputy Head, overseeing our curriculum, staff training, and professional development. 

Paul is passionate about international education and is proud of the cultural experiences and opportunities we offer our students. A teacher at heart, Paul enjoys getting into the classroom and delivering exceptional learning experiences. Paul is also a qualified Independent School Inspector.  

Away from PBIS, Paul likes to spend time with his family, keep fit, and play the guitar.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, David completed his studies in England before becoming a computer business analyst. He then undertook his teacher training. Following a successful period as our Deputy Head of Secondary and IBDP Coordinator, David was appointed Head of Secondary with responsibilities across all three campuses. 

David leads our IGCSE and IBDP qualifications. He helps students to fulfil their personal and academic potential, ensuring they’re on the right pathways, monitoring their development, and guiding their progress. 
 
Outside of school, David enjoys spending time with his young family. He also plays football and goes running.

After graduating from Charles University, Petra worked in a variety of international companies, which took her all over the world. She then decided to follow her passion to teach, joining PBIS in 2001.

Petra has made a huge impact here. Her leadership of our Czech curriculum programme, Česko Britská Základní Škola (ČBZŠ), ensures PBIS offers a unique ‘best of both’ bilingual school experience. The programme has achieved national acclaim for the quality and breadth of learning offered.

Away from school, Petra loves travelling and speaks several languages fluently. She also enjoys sport, in particular artistic gymnastics.

After graduating from the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague and ESADE in Barcelona, Eva worked in construction and utility companies. She then moved to the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University.  

Eva joined PBIS in 2017, both as a parent and our Admissions Manager. She became Admissions and Marketing Director in April 2019, and is the friendly, welcoming face you’ll meet when you first get in touch with us. 

In her free time, Eva enjoys yoga, good food, and being with her family.
