Katharine is originally from London and graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Education (QTS), specialising in Art and Drama. In 2017, she subsequently obtained a Masters Degree in Leadership and Management, from the University of Bath. She has also trained as an Independent School’s Inspector. She has been teaching for over 20 years, both in the U.K. and overseas. Teaching internationally has given her so many opportunities to interact with different people, experience new cultures and absorb new ways of teaching. She has taught in a number of year groups within KS2 and KS3 and held a variety of management roles over her career. She is currently the Deputy Head Pastoral and Vlastina Safeguarding Officer. She loves her current role as it gives her plenty of opportunities to interact with staff, children and parents within the school community. In her spare time, Katharine loves spending time with her family - which often involves a lot of travel, going to the theatre and being creative.
