All delegates debating in the WHO are required to research and write a position paper about their assigned topic. All position papers should include a list of sources used written in MLA format. It is mandatory for all delegates to submit a copy of their position papers here. Delegations that do not submit position papers by Monday, May 3rd at 7:00 pm CST will be ineligible for awards.
ISRMUN is proud to participate in the 2021 edition of the UNHCR MUN Refugee Challenge. The initiative challenges Model United Nations delegates worldwide to debate the major issues related to forced displacement. The resolutions that emerge from these debates will be put before a jury composed of UNHCR members, young refugee leaders and independent experts. Awards will be announced in 2021. The best ideas will be shared with policymakers and be promoted on UNHCR’s social media channels, which are followed by millions of people.
Please note that the WHO is open to students in middle school (grades 6-8).
